Dr Clementine David is a Paediatric Immunologist and Allergist with a special interest in food allergies, FPIES, eczema, allergic rhinitis (hayfever), and asthma. She is also experienced in managing drug and insect allergies, urticaria (hives), FPIAP (cow's milk protein intolerance), eosinophilic oesophagitis, suspected immunodeficiency, and periodic fever syndromes.

She takes a warm, collaborative, and evidence-based approach to diagnosis and management. As a mother of two children with allergies — Dr Clementine brings together specialist expertise and lived experience, supporting families with both practical and clinical guidance. She is committed to providing compassionate, individualised care in partnership with families, and values open, clear communication, knowing that trust and collaboration are central to achieving the best outcomes for children.

In addition to her specialist training, Dr Clementine has undertaken further education in Neuroprotective Developmental Care (NDC), a holistic, evidence-based framework that integrates breastfeeding, sleep and settling, and parental mental health, underpinned by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This training has enriched her family-centred approach, reinforcing the importance of nurturing wellbeing from the very beginning of life.

Dr Clementine completed her paediatric immunology and allergy training at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2025.

She is actively involved in research and education, with publications in leading journals and presentations at national conferences, including the annual meeting of the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA). She has held academic appointments as a Conjoint Associate Lecturer at the University of New South Wales and is currently a Clinical Associate Lecturer at the University of Sydney.

Outside of medicine, Dr Clementine enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, and eating gelato.
